Saving Jemima

Acclaimed author, artist and naturalist Julie Zickefoose tells the story of her life with a wild blue jay she named Jemima.
Zickefoose is also a wildlife rehabilitator, and she took Jemima in as a tiny, starved chick. The chick grew and recovered. Julie released her. But their lives grow even more intertwined when Jemina returns as a wild adult, sick again. She takes over the Zickefoose household and Julie's heart.
